πŸŽ’ K–12 Schools

Elementary, middle, and high schools

Unlike universities, K–12 schools don't have a single global application system. Public schools are assigned by address; private schools apply individually. Here's the honest guide for international families.

πŸ’‘ The truth about K–12: The US has ~100,000 K–12 schools and Canada has ~15,000. No single database lists them all usefully. Instead, we point you to the best-in-class directories that DO have every school β€” and we curate the boarding schools international students can realistically apply to from abroad.

3

Boarding schools

The real international path for ages 10–18. Student lives at the school, visa is an F-1 (US) or Study Permit (Canada). See our Boarding page.

4
